Job Description:
Experienced Civil Crew Members
On the back of an ever-increasing workload, Kilronan Plant are looking for experienced Civils crews with competitive rates on offer. We are looking for hardworking and committed crews for long term work.
Duties:
Responsibilities
Installation of sub-ducting and cable in new and congested duct networks.
Ability to rod, rope and test ducts in new and congested duct networks.
Locating, identifying, and clearing of blockages in duct networks.
Ability to follow design drawings and schematics.
Carry out traffic management at each site, as required.
Ability to maintain records of daily work logs, data recordings, and network design maps.
Ability to operate communications devices and company vehicles in accordance with company policies.
Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by your manager.
Carry out your duties to meet quality, safety and environmental requirements at all times.
Risk assessing and hazard identification, with a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities
Work with colleagues to ensure work is delivered on time and to specification.
Requirements :
Flexibility around travel is required
Strong team working ethos.
Presentable appearance.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients.
Be competent in the use of small plant such as GCAT4 + Genny, Consaws / Wacker plates / Cobra Reel / Mini digger.
Certificates :
1. Full, clean drivers licence, BE Category. (C /C1 advantage)
2. Safe Pass (valid and in date).
3. Manual Handling (preferable).
4. Signing Lighting and Guarding at the roadside, SLG, (preferable).
5. Location of underground services, LUGS, (preferable).
6. Excavator 360 (preferable).
Whilst 3-6 are preferable, a willingness to sit the course is adequate as training can be provided.
